We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to quote, design, supply and install your stone, and to run our business. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

• Identity & contact details — your name, email address, phone number and the project's site address.
• Project information — measurements, plans, photographs of your space, stone selections and timelines you share with us.
• Transaction details — quotes, invoices and payment records (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by our payment provider).
• Website usage — pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics.

You do not have to identify yourself to browse the website, but we cannot prepare a quote or arrange a measurement without your contact details.

We use your personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and prepare quotes;
• schedule and carry out home measurements, design and installation;
• process orders, payments and warranty registrations;
• keep you informed about the progress of your project;
• send you the Apelux Letter and other marketing, where you have opted in; and
• improve our website, products and service.

We will not use your information for an unrelated purpose without your consent, unless required or authorised by law.

We treat your project as confidential. We may disclose your personal information to:

• Our team and installers — so they can design and install your stone;
• Your nominated builder, architect or designer — where coordination is needed and you have asked us to liaise with them;

If you opt in, we will send you occasional updates about new stone arrivals, completed projects and material studies — the Apelux Letter, sent quarterly. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@apelux.com.au. We will action your request promptly.

Our website uses cookies — small files stored on your device — to remember your preferences (such as saved panels) and to understand how the site is used. We use analytics tools to measure traffic and improve the experience.

We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first. There is no fee to make a request, though we may charge a reasonable cost for retrieving extensive records.

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud email and analytics) may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
